Craft a memory book to save scraps and mementos. Create your own personal time capsule to take home. The August 30 session will be a SEND relaxed session, with more sensory activities and more focus on independent learning. There will be a lower light level, a sensory tent, and ear defenders will be available. Castleford Museum. - August 28 - FREE to those living on the Warwick Estate, £3 to others - 10-11.30am, Wild Tots, for under-5s, older siblings welcome. 12.30-4.30pm, Adventure Play (ages 5-13). Both at the Addy, Knottingley, with a foam party on both sessions. Booking required. - August 29 - FREE - Castleford Indoor Market. Meet a Tiger! The Castleford Tigers players will be on hand for some free fun and games. Design a new kit for the teams and take on one of the Tigers at giant Jenga, Connect Four and an other games. Find all the rugby balls on the market stalls to claim your prize and get your face painted too, plus try our surfboard simulator. 10am- 3.30pm. - August 29 – FREE - 3-5pm, Run Riot. For children with additional needs and their siblings/families. The Addy, Knottingley. Booking required. - August 30 – FREE - Castleford Indoor Market. Petting zoo with Lion Learners. Come and meet some incredible animals. Ask questions and get up close with snakes, lizards, tortoise and creepy crawlies. 10am-3pm. - August 30 - FREE to those living on the Warwick Estate, £3 to others -10-11.30am Wild Tots, for under-5s, older siblings welcome. The Addy, Knottingley. Booking required. - August 31 - FREE - Castleford Indoor Market, Seeing Stars. A giant planetarium space dome provides a full view of our solar system. Learn all about the stars and planets in a fun way. Alongside this will be some interactive VR headsets to really take you into space. You might meet an alien and can even create your own rocket. 10am- 3.30pm.
